ACCG invites you to join in The Great Big Green Week with communities across the country to celebrate action against climate change. On Saturday 18th September, we will be hosting a litter pick event from The Kings Arms Garden, with equipment available between 12 to 3pm, alongside interesting ideas stalls from ACCG, Plastic Free Ampthill and Re-Phils Zero Waste Shop https://rephils.co.uk/

Thanks to this special invitation from The Friends of The Kings Arms Garden, the garden will be open for you to explore between 12-3pm. There’s free advice on sustainable and wildlife friendly gardening, easy household swaps to reduce plastic use, and on local recycling opportunities. Come along, help clean up our town, bring all the family and have a sociable afternoon.

Find out more about The Great Big Green Week at https://greatbiggreenweek.com/and join in our window poster campaign https://ampthillclimatechange.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Great-Big-Green-Week-Window-Poster-1.pdf to show how many of us are concerned enough about climate change to make our own lifestyle changes.

Access to the Kings Arms Garden is via the Kings Arms Path from Ampthill town centre. Postcode MK45 2PP

We will be maintaining covid-safe precautions at this outdoor event. Please observe social distancing and wear masks when close to others.
